RSA was the first in the industry to utilize GPR for locating of underground utilities in conjunction with Directional Boring Technology.

At the height of the Telecommunication rush to build fiber optic networks the need to determine the exact location of existing utility lines and other buried enfrastructure became a major issue. In conjunction with the use of other locating equipment and due diligence, RSA provides directional bore profiles that are precise and accurate. Our process, along with other tools, allow our clients to safely install all types of underground utilities.

RSA has expanded the service, now utilizing the GPR equipment to provide pavement analysis for the installation of "Micro-Trench" or "Road" cable. Various Permitting Agencies have begun requiring pavement profiles prior to permitting a project and by utilizing GPR, coring of the roadway is eliminated and provides more detail about the entire roadway not just a small sample.

Over the years, RSA has provided Hazmat GPR Services to locate underground storage tanks, underground utilities, old building foundations and soil densities. RSA, in conjunction with bore-hole sampling, has aided many companies during the process of contamination location.

RSA has also provided free services to various Public Agencies to aid in the location of missing people as well as Forensic Investigation.
RSA has completed many different types of projects utilizing this equipment such as: parking structure deck analysis, locating of post tensioning cables within concrete floors, pavement delamination, utility locating and mapping and more. Because GPR is non-hazardous, this equipment can be used in close proximity to sensitive equipment and personnel without the hazards associated with X-Ray services.
